History

For over 30 years Pierce has been passionately dedicated to alpine ski racing in sales, service and support.  As a shop we have given back to the local race community over a quarter of a million dollars in financial support in the form of fund raising and sponsorships.

Pierce & Mt. Hood Testing

In 1998 to better understand what actually goes on at Mt. Hood we attended our 1^st summer ski camp.  This concept quickly evolved from being a chaperone into being actively involved in equipment testing:  working with athletes and coaches on a daily basis.

Independent Testing

Being an independent shop has enabled us to conduct our own equipment assessment void of any manufacturer bias.  Summer 2010 marked our 13th tour-of-duty working on the Palmer Snowfield.  This year's equpiment recommendations represent our compilation of the testing done in June combined with information from the previous 12 years.

Knowledgable Staff

Everyone on our staff is actively involved in racing. We race, have kids who race and some of us are coaches

Warranty Processing

Pierce stands behind what we sell.  Our record for turning around broken equipment claims is legendary.  This February we actually replaced a pair of de-laminated skis between race runs at a high school sectional meet at Buck Hill.  We are also an on-site warranty replacement site for Leki poles purchased from us.
